Privacy Policy

This site collects very little, and most of what you do here never leaves your browser. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and nothing to fill in beyond the calculator itself.

What you type stays on your device

Every calculation runs in your browser. The amount you enter, the commitment, your price prediction and the payout assumption are never sent to this site's server or anywhere else. The only request the page makes to us is for market data - current prices and protocol figures - and that request says nothing about you or what you have typed.

The address you look up

On the Your contracts page you can paste an address to see the mining contracts it holds. That address is never sent to this site. Your browser reads the HEX contract directly, we are not part of the conversation, and nothing is saved - not in this page, not on your device, not anywhere. Close the tab and it is gone. There is no account, and you are never asked to connect a wallet.

What we cannot do anything about is the node your browser asks. Reading the chain means talking to a public server somewhere, and that server sees the address you asked about alongside your IP address - exactly as it would if you looked the same address up on a block explorer. Public nodes go down often enough that the page keeps a short list per chain and tries the next one when it has to, so the full set it may contact is rpc.pulsechain.com and pulsechain-rpc.publicnode.com on PulseChain, and ethereum-rpc.publicnode.com, eth.drpc.org and rpc.ankr.com on Ethereum. The first on each list is used unless it fails. If you would rather none of them saw your address, the page has a field for your own node, and it will use that instead.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_35MQE1E3LM, and sends Google your approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you view, and your IP address. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not try to find out.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that turns it off across every site that uses it, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most browsers' tracking protection and most ad blockers stop it too. The calculator works exactly the same either way.

Your theme choice

If you switch between light and dark, that single preference is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It is stored only on your own device, it is never sent anywhere, and nothing is written at all unless you actually change the setting. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Who else your browser talks to

On the calculator, only Google, for the analytics described above. Market prices and protocol figures are fetched by this site's server rather than by your browser, so visiting does not put you in contact with the data providers behind those numbers. The same is true of the hardware wallet advertising described below: its images are served from this site, so your browser does not contact anyone else until you choose to follow one of the links.

On the Your contracts page, one more: the node that reads the chain, and only from the moment you press Look up. Loading that page contacts nobody new.

On the Stats page, nobody new at all. Its charts are protocol-wide figures that are the same for every visitor, so this site's server reads them once and serves the result — your browser never contacts a blockchain node there, and the page has nothing to send about you in the first place.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the web host keeps standard access logs recording IP addresses, times and requested pages. These are kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, and are not used to build any profile of you.

How this site is paid for

One advertiser, in two places: a Ledger banner above the calculator, and a line under the results about keeping coins on a hardware wallet. If you follow either and buy something, Ledger pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. That is the only way this calculator earns anything, and it is the whole reason they are there.

Both are ordinary links, and the banner is an ordinary picture. There is no advertising network behind them, no third-party script, and nothing that watches you: the banner images are served from this site, so until you actually click, your browser never contacts Ledger at all. When you do click, the link carries a referral code that tells Ledger the visit came from here. It carries nothing about your calculation - not the amount, not the commitment, not the projection - and what comes back to us is a count of sales, never who made them.

You can strip the code and go to the shop directly if you would rather not be counted, and nothing about the calculator changes if you do.

What this site does not do

• It does not sell or share your data with anyone.
• It does not run advertising networks, ad trackers or third-party scripts.
• It does not ask for your email address or any other personal detail.
• It never asks you to connect a wallet, and cannot move anything you own.
• It does not store the address you look up, or send it to this site at all.

Changes and questions

If what this site collects changes, this page changes with it. If something here is unclear or looks wrong, please get in touch - it should describe the site exactly, and if it does not, that is a fault worth fixing.
